Raine's talent has been recognized with a dozen international and national collectible Achievement Awards, including the coveted Artist of the Year and Collectible of the Year Awards from the gift industry's largest trade associations. Her sculptures have been commissioned and purchased by business organizations and institutions, and are part of public and private collections throughout the world. Raine's solid traditional background in the arts lends sculptural strength and integrity of form to her work, and the levels of textural detail and the materials represented - satin, suede, rubber, cork - are all sculpted in clay, cast, and hand painted in exquisite detail. She uses the unseen anatomy of the foot to create the illusion of these tiny sculptures having actually been worn by someone. The Just the Right Shoe brand was introduced in 2000 but was retired in 2001 and is no longer in production.
